“Having Sue as my Doula during my second pregnancy gave me a lot of support. My husband, my older son (at that time 4 years old) and myself were living abroad in the UAE Abu Dhabi, without family and close friends support.

Being alone in a foreign country, looking after my older son, my husband travelling for work and myself still working, was much nicer with as much support as possible.

Especially not knowing the hospital guidelines and procedures.
Sue and I did our pre-natal yoga teacher training together. During this training I got pregnant. It was the perfect timing. Sue was there with more than 20 years’ experience in midwifery and I just put one and one together.

I loved her calmness and open heartedness. She has vast birthing knowledge, and our coming together felt always very close and more like meeting a good friend. This gave me the relaxedness and calmness to trust my pregnancy, birth and the postpartum time.
Thank you Sue!”

“I did both yoga and hypnobirthing with Sue during my pregnancy. Hypnobirthing was a very informative and interactive class that took the pregnancy anxiety away, while yoga was an absolute blast. Sue always said at the beginning of every class, this practice is for you to see how strong your pregnant body is and how much you can do. I did feel like a very powerful, confident, pregnant woman. Thank you Sue❤️”

I first met Sue for Prenatal Yoga when I was pregnant with my third baby.

It was by far the best prenatal yoga that I’ve tried. It’s comforting to know that not only is Sue amazing at teaching Yoga, but as a Midwife and Doula she also knows a lot about a pregnant woman so you can trust everything she says!

I wasn’t allowed a Doula where I gave Birth but before the labour Sue coached and guided me through my pregnancy.

Even on my third pregnancy I had lots of questions and I was grateful to have Sue to answer my questions as her approach to birth complimented my own.

After having our baby, my husband and I did private yoga lessons with Sue which were brilliant.

She paid close attention to our needs and supported us as we attempted to get better at our poses.

I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment in recommending Sue for any kind of yoga or as a Doula. She is kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and just lovely!

Susan was the teacher who encouraged me and helped me realise that yoga was open to me! her classes are joyful, just the right amount of challenge but also deeply uplifting and rejuvinating. I always feel brilliant afterwards.

"Sues' warmth, caring and knowledge come through in everything she does. As an adult new to yoga, I felt welcomed, supported and cared for in her classes.

I appreciated her approach to yoga and  understanding of ones' body so much. I was delighted when she agreed to teach classes for my teen daughters and their friends.

She was patient with them. She really listened to their needs and interests and tailored the classes to them. They loved every session and kept asking for more classes!

We are all so grateful to Sue and adore her as a teacher and a wonderful human being."  Karen- Mum of Teens.

" Miss Sue's class was a revelation! she was the best teacher ever- she was calm and relaxed but she also helped us to push our boundaries"  Kiera

"It was a lovely experience that everyone could enjoy, and Sue was always happy to adjust the yoga to suit our needs"  Olivia

"In June 2021, I was nearing my due date and my dream of a vaginal birth after caesarean was slowly fading away....

My obstetrician was telling me that I would need a repeat C-section if I went beyond my due date or if the baby's predicted birthweight was more than 3.5kg.

That's when I decided to find a Doula to support me in in achieving the 'impossible'.

I was lucky that the first Doula who was recommended to me was the perfect one for me.

My Doula Sue is an experienced midwife and helped me achieve my dream VBAC. My baby Emma was born at 41+2 weeks and weighed 3.94 kg.

Being my second pregnancy I thought I knew everything about birth, but Sue taught me so much about birth, positioning, possible medical interventions and offered strategies to help me decide on the best options during pregnancy and the birth.

Moreover, following some information from Sue, I decided to change Hospital and obstetrician in week 39 of my pregnancy - and that was possibly the best decision I could ever have made!

Sue was there for me since the moment I met her. She was available24/7via text; phone and in person whenever I needed her. She supported me from the moment I went into labour until I safely held my daughter in my arms.

If you are looking for a Doula with deep midwifery experience, who is kind, honest, compassionate and knowledgeable, I can only recommend Sue.

Thank you so much for being my Doula before, during and after my daughters birth. You have been a God send! X

Sue is a lovely person, fantastic teacher and birthing coach. I always looked forward to my prenatal yoga classes with her-it was my favourite way to spend time with myself and my unborn baby.

She played a vital role in preparing me for my upcoming birth with her well balanced classes, which were the perfect mix of asana, meditation and reflection.

She was also able to offer lots of welcome advice on approaching birth positively, drawing on her expertise from her background in midwifery and as a Doula and hypnobirthing teacher.

Sue was an asset to the yoga community and will be greatly missed by her clients here in Abu Dhabi.

As soon as I fell pregnant with my second baby I went on the hunt to find a prenatal yoga teacher who would help guide me through my pregnancy.

I joined an information session for Sue's pregnancy yoga course and I knew immediately that Sue was the perfect choice for me!

With her background as a Midwife, Doula, Hypnobirthing and yoga teacher, Sue is a fountain knowledge when it comes to pregnancy, birth and beyond.

Her prenatal yoga course is much more than just a yoga class as Sue shares her tips and tricks about pregnancy and Birthing throughout each practice and has been a great support to me even outside of class.

She has the most beautiful, calming presence and her classes are so enjoyable. She manages to incorporate hypnobirthing throughout each class and finishes with the most wonderful relaxing meditations. I always leave practice feeling energised but also extremely relaxed-which is exactly what I want from my prenatal yoga class.

I cannot recommend Sue highly enough. She is a truly amazing, encouraging and inspirational teacher.
